Chandragiri Polling: Sudha Reddy Alleges Chevireddy Tried to Disrupt Peace

Sudha Reddy, wife of Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani, alleged that YSRCP leader Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy attempted to create a disturbance near a polling booth in Chandragiri during the AP ZPTC and MPTC elections. She criticised Chevireddy, claiming that creating unrest, projecting the constituency as a trouble spot and subsequently demanding repolling had become a regular practice for him.

Sudha Reddy said she was accompanying her brother to ensure that polling in Chandragiri remained peaceful and to prevent any untoward incidents. She added that her presence was intended to ensure that no disturbances occurred at polling stations. Her remarks came amid heightened political attention surrounding the local elections.
