Opposition Members of Parliament staged protests for the 12th consecutive day inside the Parliament premises, demanding action over the alleged attack on students and the alleged theft of Ayodhya donation funds. The demonstrations were held near the Makar Dwar, where MPs from the Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC), DMK, Samajwadi Party and several other opposition parties gathered to voice their concerns. Protesters also raised slogans targeting the BJP and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
As part of the demonstration, opposition MPs symbolically placed money into a donation box as a mark of protest. The participating leaders alleged irregularities in the handling of donation funds and demanded accountability from the government. The protest added to the continuing political confrontation between the ruling alliance and the opposition during the ongoing Parliament session.
