The National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again dismissed claims circulating on social media regarding an alleged leak of the NEET Re-Test question paper. In a statement posted on X, the agency clarified that the viral video being shared online is fake and urged students and parents not to believe or spread misleading information.
According to the NTA, the NEET Re-Test was conducted successfully across the country under stringent security arrangements. The agency warned that creating and spreading false information to create panic among students is a serious offence and that strict action will be taken against those responsible. More than 20 lakh candidates appeared for the re-examination, which was monitored by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from the NTA headquarters in New Delhi. Meanwhile, a separate controversy emerged in Karnataka, where allegations surfaced that three students missed the exam due to traffic disruptions caused by a Congress rally in Bengaluru, triggering a political debate between the BJP and Congress.
