A student appearing for the NEET examination in Hyderabad was arrested for allegedly engaging in malpractice during the test. According to officials, the student from Achampet had planned the act in advance and reportedly arrived at the examination centre early in the morning. He allegedly placed a mobile phone inside a restroom through a ventilator before the exam began.
During the examination, the student sought permission to visit the restroom citing stomach pain. Officials later found him using the hidden mobile phone and searching for answers through Google Chrome. Suspicion arose when he failed to return for an extended period, prompting the invigilator to alert the police. The student was caught red-handed, taken into custody, and a case was registered.
