Major Accident Averted at Vizag Steel Plant!

A major industrial accident was narrowly avoided at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant in the early hours of Thursday. Molten steel spilled from a ladle at the Argon Rinsing Station in Steel Melting Shop-1 (SMS-1), triggering concern among plant officials. The incident occurred at around 5:30 a.m.

Fortunately, no employees were present at the location when the spill occurred, preventing injuries or loss of life. While the incident had the potential to cause significant damage, disaster was averted due to the absence of personnel in the affected area. Authorities have launched an inquiry to determine the cause of the incident and assess safety measures within the plant.
