Land Dispute Over Prohibited List: Retired Judge Approaches High Court

A retired judge, Abhinandan Kumar Shavili, has approached the High Court challenging the inclusion of his land in the prohibited list by the Rangareddy district Collector. The dispute involves 3.26 acres in Survey No. 103/45A in Gubbadi village, Shamsabad mandal, along with 1.04 acres owned by his brother in Survey No. 103/45E.

He stated that the lands were legally purchased in 1980 and argued that classifying them as assigned lands without any supporting evidence is illegal. The High Court observed that the matter pertains to the stamps and registration department and directed that it be placed before the appropriate roster bench for further hearing.
