

Reports indicate that Iran has extended an official invitation to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the funeral ceremonies of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The invitation was reportedly conveyed through the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi to India’s Ministry of External Affairs. The development has attracted significant international attention due to the importance of India-Iran diplomatic relations.
According to reports, invitations have also been sent to leaders from China, Russia, Qatar, France, Pakistan, and several other nations on behalf of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. However, India has not yet announced who will represent the country at the event. The invitation is being viewed as a significant diplomatic gesture amid ongoing engagement between New Delhi and Tehran.
