Heavy Rains Lash Hyderabad, Low-Lying Areas Waterlogged and Traffic Disrupted

Heavy rains have lashed Hyderabad, disrupting normal life across the city. Several areas witnessed thunder and lightning showers, leading to waterlogging in low-lying regions and causing severe inconvenience to commuters and pedestrians.

Traffic movement was affected in areas such as Punjagutta, Banjara Hills, Khairatabad, Ameerpet, Yusufguda, and Tolichowki. GHMC officials have been alerted and are taking relief measures. The weather department has warned of moderate to heavy rainfall in the coming hours.
