Relief for LPG Consumers in AP as Cylinder Delivery Allowed Without OTP

LPG consumers in 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh have received temporary relief, with OTP verification waived for the delivery of gas cylinders. The decision is aimed at ensuring the smooth distribution of LPG cylinders amid disruptions caused by power outages and mobile network connectivity issues.

Under the temporary arrangement, distributors are permitted to deliver LPG cylinders against cash payment without OTP verification. The move is expected to reduce inconvenience for consumers facing difficulties receiving OTPs due to unreliable network connectivity and electricity interruptions.
