The Supreme Court has delivered a key verdict in the Miyapur land dispute in Hyderabad, dismissing appeals filed by private parties over more than 550 acres of land covered by Survey Nos. 100 and 101 in Miyapur, Serilingampally mandal, Ranga Reddy district. The ruling marks a significant development in the long-running dispute and provides relief to the Telangana government.
A bench headed by Justice M. M. Sundresh reportedly held that the disputed land belongs entirely to the government. By rejecting the appeals filed by private parties, the apex court has delivered a major ruling on the ownership of the land. The verdict is significant in the context of disputes over government and private ownership of valuable land parcels in Hyderabad.
