The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is set to hold its mid-term elections tomorrow. With the secretary post being uncontested and elected unopposed, the elections are taking place only for the treasurer position. Candidates in the fray include Harinarayana, Agam Rao, Babu Rao and Anil, among others. A total of 174 eligible voters are expected to exercise their voting rights in this election.
Former cricketers and players representing the HCA quota, including VVS Laxman, Mithali Raj and Venkatapathi Raju, are also scheduled to cast their votes. Polling will be conducted at Uppal Stadium from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Counting of votes will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by the official announcement of results. Tomorrow’s election is considered a significant event in the HCA administration, with close attention on both the voting process and the timely declaration of results.
