Grand TANA Mid-Atlantic Women’s Cricket Tournament

The first ever TANA Mid Atlantic Women’s Cricket Tournament, organised by the Telugu Association of North America’s Mid-Atlantic chapter, received an encouraging response. Held on September 19 at Albert C. Miller Park, the tournament brought together several teams that showcased their talent and sporting spirit. TANA Mid Atlantic appreciated umpires Suresh Yalamanchi, Venkatesh Jagarlamudi, Sridhar Sadineni, Chalam Pavuluri, Prasad Krothapalli, Vineeth Tummala and Swarjeeth for conducting the matches smoothly and impartially. Women’s Coordinator Deepti Koka was specially appreciated for coordinating the event from the beginning and providing extensive support. TANA Board Director Ravi Potluri and Satish Tummala also attended the tournament and encouraged the players.

The organisers also appreciated Suresh Yalamanchi, Sunil Koganti, Chalam Pavuluri, Ranjith Mamidi, Prasad Krothapalli, Krishna Nandamuri, Gopi Vagvala, Sridhar Sadineni, Katta Chaitanya and Krishitha Nandamuri for their day-long support. Special thanks were extended to Ramakrishna Tadishetti for his generous sponsorship. Power Blazes emerged as champions, while Titans finished as runners-up. Aishwarya Lachagari was named Player of the Series, Nithya Keshav was recognised as Best Batter, Priyanka Ramishet as Best Bowler, Ajanta Taduri as Player of the Match and Krishitha Nandamuri as Best Volunteer of the Day. TANA President Dr. Naren Kodali, Executive Vice President Srinivas Lavvu, Board Director Ravi Potluri, Mid-Atlantic Regional Representative Phani Kantheti, Benefits Coordinator Venkat Singu and Sports Coordinator Shiva Chava congratulated everyone who contributed to the tournament’s success.
