Good News for Telangana Journalists!

The Telangana government has announced a major relief for working journalists across the state. In view of the issuance of new accreditations for the 2026–2028 period, the Information and Public Relations Department has requested TSRTC to provide concessional bus passes to eligible state and district level journalists.

Special Commissioner of Information and Public Relations G. Mukunda Reddy wrote an official letter to the TSRTC Managing Director seeking the issuance of bus passes with validity from June 17, 2026, to April 30, 2028. As the current bus passes expire on June 16, journalists will be allowed to apply online for the new passes. He also clarified that new accreditation cards have already been issued and the process of issuing the remaining cards is continuing.
