Every Eligible Person Must Apply

The Telangana government has urged all eligible people to apply for Cheyutha social security pensions by August 31. With the deadline approaching, the government is conducting awareness campaigns across the state to ensure that no eligible person misses out on the scheme due to a lack of information or failure to apply.

As part of the campaign, SERP, following the directions of Minister Seethakka, has released awareness material in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and English. Audio messages, videos and songs have been designed in a simple and accessible manner to explain the eligibility criteria, application process and deadline for Cheyutha pensions.

SERP has called for wider publicity through the media, social media and local awareness programmes in both rural and urban areas. Public representatives, officials, self-help group members and grassroots staff have also been asked to identify eligible beneficiaries and encourage them to apply. The government has urged eligible applicants not to wait until the last day and to submit their applications at the earliest.
