I Can’t Write a Story Like This – Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for intense emotions and violent storytelling through films such as Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh and Animal. Currently working with Prabhas on Spirit, Sandeep has also turned producer for Romanchakam, starring Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 3, and its trailer was recently released.

Speaking at the trailer launch, Sandeep revealed that he heard the story of Romanchakam while he was working on Animal. He said the story made him laugh a lot and impressed him with its honesty. Sandeep added that he could not write a story like this himself, which was why he decided to produce it. He also highlighted that the film received a clean U/A certificate, unlike his earlier movies, which received A certificates. He further stated that Spirit would definitely receive an A certificate.

Based on the trailer, Romanchakam appears to be a Gen-Z love story. The protagonist runs a startup and meets the female lead during his journey, eventually falling in love with her. However, differences and obstacles enter their relationship, forming the core of the story. Directed by Venu, the film appears to explore the mindset of today's youth through a contemporary romantic narrative.
