Aerospace and defence company Sigma Advanced Systems has secured a major long term order worth ₹1,600 crore from Rolls-Royce. Under the contract, the company will manufacture and supply critical components used in aircraft engines manufactured by Rolls-Royce.
According to the company, the long term contract was secured through its UK-based subsidiary, Bramford Precision Solutions, which it recently acquired. The components will be manufactured and supplied from both the UK subsidiary and Sigma Advanced Systems’ facilities in India, strengthening the company’s presence in the global aerospace supply chain.
