Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar’s daughter Anaya Bangar has received permission to participate in women’s community cricket competitions in Australia. Anaya welcomed the decision and expressed her happiness, saying she had once feared that she might not be able to continue playing cricket after her transition. She thanked Cricket Australia for giving her another opportunity to pursue the sport.
According to Cricket Australia, Anaya will be eligible to participate in premier cricket competitions in any Australian state until March next year. Before competing, she will undergo a blood test to determine whether her testosterone level meets the applicable standards. The decision provides Anaya with an opportunity to continue her cricket journey at the community level in Australia.
