C. V. Anand Sajjanar has issued a strong advisory to students and parents in the wake of the NEET UG results, cautioning them against fraudulent agents promising medical seats. He warned that some individuals are exploiting the high demand and respect for the medical profession by offering MBBS seats at low costs under management quota or through foreign universities.
He urged parents to verify the authenticity of foreign medical colleges through the National Medical Commission (NMC) before making any payments. Sajjanar also advised against handing over cash to middlemen and emphasized paying fees only through official university channels. He appealed to victims to immediately report such fraud attempts by dialing 100 or approaching the nearest police station.
