C-295 Strengthens the Make in India Initiative

India has marked a significant milestone in the aviation and defence sectors with the successful maiden test flight of the first Made-in-India Airbus C-295 military transport aircraft. This achievement highlights the country’s growing capabilities in indigenous aircraft manufacturing and defence production.

The historic test flight was conducted from the Final Assembly Line in Vadodara, Gujarat. The successful trial reflects India’s commitment to strengthening its defence infrastructure and promoting the ‘Make in India’ initiative in advanced aerospace manufacturing.
