BRS Issues Whip to MLCs

The BRS has issued a whip to all its MLCs, directing them to attend the Legislative Council session and remain in the House until the proceedings conclude. Council Whip Deshapathi Srinivas instructed the members to participate in discussions strictly according to the party’s stand and vote in favour of the BRS on all bills and motions.

The party warned that any violation of the whip could lead to disqualification proceedings under the Anti-Defection Law. The directive is aimed at ensuring that all BRS MLCs maintain unity and follow the party’s position throughout the Council proceedings.
