Tharun Bhascker to Enter Pradeep Ranganathan’s Film

Actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan is stepping into film production with his new banner, ‘PR Show’. His maiden production, tentatively titled ‘PRS01’, is reportedly being developed as a female-centric film featuring Mamitha Baiju in the lead role. According to reports, director Ashwath Marimuthu was initially considered for an important role but has reportedly exited the project. Telugu filmmaker and actor Tharun Bhascker is said to have joined the cast in his place. Mamitha Baiju, who gained wider recognition among young audiences with Premalu, is set to headline the film.

The project also brings together a team of six young filmmakers who previously worked as assistant directors under Pradeep Ranganathan. The group, known as ‘The Alpha Unit’, is jointly directing the film. Music composer Sai Abhyankkar has been brought on board for the soundtrack. With Pradeep Ranganathan venturing into production and offering opportunities to emerging filmmakers, the project is attracting attention across Telugu and Tamil cinema circles.
