Authorities are reportedly planning preventive detention for Abhijeet Dipke, leader of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), due to concerns over potential law and order issues linked to proposed protests. Security agencies have assessed that his return to India could trigger demonstrations, and police are likely to take him into custody upon arrival at Delhi airport on Saturday after his deportation from the United States.
Dipke has urged his supporters to gather at the airport and announced a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi starting June 6, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. In his video message, he said he is aware of a possible arrest but remains determined to return. He also claimed to have received multiple threats but stated that he is not intimidated.
