Cyclone Impact: Papikondalu Tourism Suspended Again

Tourism activities at Papikondalu in Polavaram district are set to face another temporary suspension due to the impact of a cyclone. Authorities have decided to halt tourist boat operations to Papikondalu from tomorrow. Rampachodavaram Sub-Collector has issued orders temporarily suspending the operations of 16 tourism boats as a precautionary measure.

Earlier, the Papikondalu tourist trip remained suspended for around 70 days due to flooding in the Godavari River. The tourism service had resumed just two weeks ago, coinciding with the Dasara holidays. However, the latest cyclone-related concerns have once again led to the suspension of boat services. Tourists planning to visit the scenic destination may need to revise their travel plans until operations resume.
