Delhi authorities have ordered the temporary closure of 16 Metro stations beginning at 7:30 a.m. in response to security concerns surrounding protests organised by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Police have strengthened security arrangements across sensitive areas and are maintaining strict surveillance to prevent any untoward incidents during the demonstrations.
The closure of key Metro stations has affected normal travel across the national capital, forcing many commuters to look for alternative transport. Officials have appealed to the public to cooperate with security measures and advised passengers to check service updates before travelling, as restrictions may continue depending on the law and order situation.
