Special trading session on Sunday due to Union Budget

On the occasion of the Union Budget presentation, even though today is Sunday, special trading sessions are being conducted on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange. The objective is to allow markets to react immediately to budget announcements. Trading today will follow normal working-day timings, continuing from morning till evening.

However, there will be no settlement today. Shares purchased on Friday cannot be sold today, and all trades executed during today’s session will be settled on Monday. Due to these conditions, market experts are advising traders to exercise caution while executing transactions.
