Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has reportedly expanded his luxury real estate portfolio with the purchase of a beachfront property in Golden Beach, Florida, for $69.5 million, equivalent to approximately ₹660 crore. Although the buyer’s identity has not been officially disclosed, real estate experts reportedly believe Bezos is behind the deal. The property spans around 17,500 square feet and features seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a guesthouse, a swimming pool and a spa. One of its major attractions is approximately 100 feet of direct oceanfront access.
Bezos already owns high-value properties in Miami’s Indian Creek community, popularly known as the “Billionaire Bunker.” The newly reported acquisition is said to be about a 30-minute drive away. Bezos moved from the Seattle area to Florida in 2023, with the relocation linked to being closer to his parents and supporting Blue Origin’s space operations at Cape Canaveral. Florida’s lack of a state personal income tax and state capital gains tax is also considered an advantage for high-net-worth residents. However, the latest property purchase has not been officially confirmed as Bezos’s.
