Nvidia is reportedly preparing to make its biggest move yet into the mainstream personal computer market with a new generation of Windows PCs powered by Nvidia-designed processors. The devices are expected to be unveiled during the Computex technology exhibition in Taipei and Microsoft's Build developer conference in San Francisco. Teaser posts shared by Microsoft Windows, Nvidia and Arm on social media hinted at the launch, carrying the message “A New Era of PC.”
The collaboration is part of Microsoft's broader strategy to expand AI-powered computing and improve battery efficiency in Windows devices. Reports also suggest Microsoft could introduce a new AI agent platform capable of performing tasks locally on Windows computers. The platform is expected to feature an advanced assistant called "Scout" along with a new AI layer known as "Autopilot," enabling users to manage emails, calendars, meetings and productivity workflows more efficiently. While official details remain under wraps, the announcement is expected to mark a significant shift in the future of AI-powered personal computing.
