

Xiaomi subsidiary Poco has launched two new smartphones, the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power, in the Indian market. The company had previously introduced the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max in the series and has now expanded the lineup with two mid-range models. The Poco X8 features a 9,000mAh battery, while the X8 Power comes with a massive 10,000mAh battery. Both smartphones run on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Poco has promised four years of software updates and six years of security updates.
Both phones feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness. They also get Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Both models have a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The X8 Power gets a 32MP selfie camera, while the X8 has a 16MP front camera. The X8 Power supports 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging, while the X8 supports 67W charging and 22.5W reverse charging. The Poco X8 starts at ₹29,999, while the X8 Power starts at ₹35,999. Customers can also avail a ₹2,000 coupon discount and ₹1,000 exchange bonus. Sales begin on Flipkart from September 11.
