Vivo T5 5G Launched in India with 144Hz AMOLED Display

Vivo has launched the Vivo T5 5G in India as the fifth model in its T series. The smartphone comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 2,000 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support. It runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor, paired with the MediaTek NPU 850 AI processing unit. The device also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings and is promised three years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

For photography, the Vivo T5 5G features a 50MP primary rear camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 32MP front camera. It packs a 7,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging, while the phone weighs 199 grams. The 6GB+128GB variant is priced at ₹34,999, 8GB+128GB at ₹39,999, 8GB+256GB at ₹44,999 and 12GB+256GB at ₹49,999. Axis Bank and HDFC Bank cardholders can avail instant discounts of up to ₹4,000. Sales will begin on Flipkart from September 9, with the smartphone available in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options.
