

Karan Johar is reportedly planning a grand mythological film based on the divine love story of Radha and Krishna. Known for romantic and family dramas, the Bollywood filmmaker is said to be exploring a new genre with this ambitious project under Dharma Productions. Director Sachin Ravi, who impressed audiences with Avane Srimannarayana, is reportedly in talks to helm the film. The project is expected to bring Karan Johar’s long-standing dream of presenting the timeless love story of Radha and Krishna on the big screen to life.
According to reports, the makers are currently working on the pre-production after finalising a suitable script. The story is expected to cover Krishna’s journey from his birth to the killing of Kamsa, while giving special focus to the eternal bond between Radha and Krishna. The team is reportedly planning Hollywood-level visual effects, elaborate production design and soulful music to create a visual spectacle. Details about the casting are being kept under wraps, while discussions over who could play Krishna and Radha have already begun on social media.
