AI-Powered Study App Created by Young Chinese Innovator

Technology is creating new opportunities even for young innovators. A 13-year-old Chinese student, Xu Shuhan, has reportedly developed an AI-powered study assistant called Zai Chang despite having no coding background. The app is designed to help busy parents keep track of their children’s study habits while also encouraging students to stay focused during homework.

The app can turn an uploaded photograph of a parent into a virtual monitoring presence. Using the camera, it can reportedly identify when a student is using a mobile phone or leaving the study area and issue an alert. It also offers features such as study schedule planning and simplifying difficult notes. At a national AI product marketing competition in Hangzhou, Xu reportedly generated 18,000 yuan, around Rs.2.5 lakh, through app sales in three days and additionally won a third prize worth 5,000 yuan.
