India spinner Shree Charani has strengthened her position at the top of the ICC Women’s T20I bowling rankings. She has achieved a career-best 804 rating points, becoming the first Indian bowler to cross the 800-point mark. Charani also surpassed Mithali Raj’s previous Indian record of 780 rating points, set in 2011.
Charani is now second on the all-time list of highest ratings achieved by a women’s T20I bowler. Australia’s Megan Schutt holds the record with 806 points, leaving Charani just two points short. Deepti Sharma climbed four places to second in the bowling rankings after taking 14 wickets in the Asia Cup. In the batting rankings, Shafali Verma moved to sixth, while Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur occupy fifth and 10th positions respectively.
