India received a major boost ahead of the three match ODI series against Afghanistan starting June 13, as star all rounder Hardik Pandya has fully recovered and cleared his fitness tests. The BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru gave him a green signal after completing all required medical assessments.
Pandya, who had been recovering from a back injury that kept him out of several matches in IPL 2026 while leading Mumbai Indians, underwent rehabilitation and training sessions since June 2. Reports confirm he bowled his full quota of 10 overs during practice without discomfort, indicating full readiness for 50-over cricket. However, it is still unclear whether he will directly join the team in Dharamsala or attend the training camp in Chandigarh first.
