The 2026 ICC Women's T20 World Cup concluded with Australia defeating England in the final to claim a record-extending seventh title. Following the tournament, the International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled its Team of the Tournament, recognising the standout performers from the competition. Australia dominated the XI with four players, while India's only representative was young left-arm spinner Sree Charani. The omission of Indian openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma surprised many fans. Australia's Beth Mooney was named Player of the Tournament, while captain Sophie Molineux led the ICC XI after guiding her side to the title.
England opener Danni Wyatt-Hodge finished as the tournament's highest run-scorer with 302 runs, becoming the first player to score 300-plus runs in a single edition of the Women's T20 World Cup. Nat Sciver-Brunt, Ellyse Perry, Marizanne Kapp, Orla Prendergast, Nilakshika Silva and Fatima Sana also earned places in the XI. Sree Charani emerged as the tournament's leading wicket-taker with 14 wickets in five matches, setting a new record for the most wickets by an Indian in a single Women's T20 World Cup edition and surpassing the previous mark held by Poonam Yadav.
