

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over the demise of veteran actress Sowcar Janaki at the age of 94. He remembered her remarkable contribution to the Indian film industry and conveyed his condolences to her family.
Sowcar Janaki acted in more than 400 films during her long and distinguished career and received several awards and honours for her performances. Chandrababu said that although she is no longer physically present, the memorable characters she portrayed will continue to live on in the hearts of audiences.
The Chief Minister prayed for peace to her soul and expressed his deepest sympathies to her family members. He said the veteran actress would be remembered for her lasting contribution to cinema and the memorable roles she brought to life on screen.
