Anahat Singh Creates History in Squash

Indian squash sensation Anahat Singh has created history by winning the World Junior Squash Championship title. She defeated Egypt’s Rukayya Salem in the final to clinch the gold medal, becoming the first Indian player to achieve this remarkable feat in the tournament’s history.

Earlier, India’s best performance in the championship came in 2005 when squash star Joshna Chinappa finished as the runner-up after reaching the final. Anahat Singh’s historic victory has marked a new milestone for Indian squash on the global stage.
