Cricket fans are set for another India-Pakistan contest as India A and Pakistan A are scheduled to meet in the Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2026 in Doha, Qatar. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced the tournament schedule, with eight teams divided into two groups. Group A features Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong, while Group B comprises India A, Pakistan A, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates. Each team will play the other teams in its group once, and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals. The semi-final matches are scheduled for November 26 and 27, followed by the final on November 29.
India A will begin its group-stage campaign against Nepal on November 20. The much-anticipated match against Pakistan A is scheduled for November 22 at West End Park International Cricket Stadium. India A will then face the UAE on November 24 in its final group-stage fixture. Most matches, including the final, are scheduled to take place at West End Park International Cricket Stadium, while selected games will be held at the University of Doha for Science and Technology Cricket Ground. The tournament’s opening match is scheduled for November 19 at the university venue. In the 2025 edition, India A, led by Jitesh Sharma, defeated the UAE by 148 runs but later lost to Pakistan A by eight wickets. India A subsequently beat Oman by six wickets before its semi-final against Bangladesh ended in a tie, with India losing in the Super Over. Pakistan A went on to win the title by defeating Bangladesh in a Super Over in the final. India A will look to make a strong impression in the 2026 edition.
