BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao strongly criticized the Telangana government over the alleged pasting of notices at former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s residence during late night hours. Reacting sharply, KTR questioned whether it was appropriate to affix notices on the compound wall of KCR’s house at night despite the former Chief Minister already responding to police with his residential address. He termed the act as an inhuman and arrogant display by the administration.
KTR further alleged that the police violated established rules which mandate that individuals above the age of 65 should be questioned at their residence. He questioned whether the police were aware of Standard Operating Procedures or were merely acting as instruments to harass opposition leaders. Reiterating faith in law, justice, and democratic values, KTR stated that all false cases would be fought legally and assured that every wrongdoing would be exposed before the people of Telangana, who are closely watching the government’s actions.
