

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said that the welfare of farmers remains the top priority of the Telangana government. Addressing the Rythu Ashirvada Sabha at Jagannathapuram village in Khammam district, he stated that the government is committed to transforming agriculture into a profitable and celebratory sector. He announced that ₹9,009 crore under the Rythu Bharosa scheme had been credited to the accounts of 73.30 lakh farmers over the past nine days. During the event, the Chief Minister released the final installment of ₹1,009.15 crore for 1.44 lakh farmers and formally launched the issuance of e-Pattadar Passbooks.
The Chief Minister said that the government has spent ₹1.70 lakh crore on farmer welfare over the last 30 months through schemes including Rythu Bharosa, farm loan waiver, crop insurance, remunerative prices, bonus for fine paddy, free electricity and crop compensation. He also highlighted several welfare initiatives such as new ration cards, Indiramma housing, ₹500 LPG cylinders, free RTC travel for women and free electricity up to 200 units. Revanth Reddy reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring inclusive development and making Telangana a model state.
