Mahesh Kumar Goud Holds Urgent Zoom Meet on Electoral Roll Exercise

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee held an urgent Zoom review meeting on preparations for the statewide Gram and Ward Sabhas scheduled for August 27, 2026. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and AICC secretary Sachin Sawant addressed party leaders and reviewed the arrangements for the programme under the ongoing SIR Phase-II exercise.

The leaders stressed the need for 100 per cent booth-level coordination across all Assembly constituencies. DCC presidents, MLAs and former candidates, Parliament and Assembly SIR coordinators, Mandal/Town/Division presidents, BLA supervisors and BLAs were asked to work in coordination and carefully examine electoral-roll-related issues, including anomalies and unmapped voters. Leaders were also instructed to ensure that eligible voters are not left out and to identify and resolve issues before the Gram and Ward Sabhas. The meeting also reviewed booth-level responsibilities, monitoring and reporting mechanisms, along with pending organisational work.
