Vijay Sai Reddy Rules Out BJP Entry, Announces Plans for New Political Party

Former YSR Congress Party leader Vijay Sai Reddy has ruled out the possibility of joining the BJP, stating that he has no such plans. He said he is working towards launching a new political party and is likely to make a formal announcement within the next three to four months. He added that the party’s name, policies and future political agenda would be explained soon.

Vijay Sai Reddy also said the new party would present its views on the functioning of the existing political parties in Andhra Pradesh. He indicated that he would speak about what he described as the damage caused to the state by the TDP, YSRCP and other political forces, besides raising the issue of religious politics. His announcement has sparked interest over the possible shape and agenda of the proposed new political outfit.
