Telangana Assembly Ethics Committee Meeting Today

The Telangana Legislative Assembly Ethics Committee is scheduled to meet on Wednesday. The meeting will be held in the Assembly Committee Hall under the chairmanship of Revuri Prakash Reddy, with the issue concerning BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy expected to be a key subject of discussion. The matter was referred to the Ethics Committee following a complaint regarding Kaushik Reddy’s conduct toward MLA Kadiyam Srihari in the House.

The committee had earlier issued a notice seeking Kaushik Reddy’s explanation. After initially seeking additional time to respond, he is reported to have submitted his reply to the committee. The panel is expected to discuss the response and consider the next course of action. The committee has also received an extension to submit its report during the upcoming Assembly session.
