BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao has strongly criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for the language he has been using in recent days and for making inappropriate remarks against former CM K. Chandrashekar Rao. He said the Chief Minister was resorting to personal attacks as he failed to answer questions on key issues such as the Palamuru–Rangareddy project.
Speaking at Telangana Bhavan during the joining of Congress leader Dosala Anil Reddy and his followers into the BRS, KTR said he had no intention of abusing the CM. However, he questioned how anyone could remain calm when a leader who played a key role in achieving Telangana and served twice as Chief Minister was being insulted.
KTR asserted that democracy was the only reason for his restraint and warned that Revanth Reddy would not be allowed to win even from Kodangal in the next Assembly elections. He also reiterated that KCR would return as Chief Minister, questioning the government’s failure to fulfil its promises and criticising the CM’s confrontational approach.
