Seethakka Slams KCR’s Farmhouse Politics

Telangana Minister Seethakka has strongly criticised former Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao, questioning his absence from the Assembly. Speaking to the media on Monday, she asked whether the Leader of the Opposition would continue holding legislative party meetings at his farmhouse. She questioned why the BJP and BRS were focusing on political controversies instead of public issues and said the Assembly is the “sacred temple” where laws are made. She also questioned the need for protests outside the Assembly instead of participating in debates inside the House.

Seethakka also criticised the BJP’s protests at the start of the Assembly session, saying it was surprising to protest when the government was willing to discuss issues. She said Telangana lacked a constructive opposition and questioned whether the opposition parties were genuinely committed to public concerns. Calling the BJP and BRS “drama companies”, she alleged that one party was staging protests outside the Assembly while the other was creating a scene inside. She further criticised the BRS for allegedly disregarding rules it had imposed while in power and urged the opposition to stop political dramas and attend the Assembly.
