Revanth's Strong Stand on HYDRA

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made strong remarks on the HYDRA issue, describing it as one of the government's biggest reforms. He asserted that the appointment of any government official is entirely the government's prerogative and said the administration has complete clarity regarding HYDRA's functioning. He alleged that those who had encroached upon lakes and government lands were attempting to mislead the court.

The Chief Minister stated that no encroacher would be spared, irrespective of whether they were poor or influential. Referring to the N Convention case, he said the law applies equally to everyone. Revanth Reddy also pointed out that former IAS officer Somesh Kumar had faced more than 400 contempt of court cases in the past and questioned why the issue was not highlighted then. He alleged that BRS leaders were filing cases against HYDRA with political motives and said the government would decide its next course of action after thoroughly examining the High Court's judgment.
