BRS leaders lodged a complaint with the Governor regarding the Singareni scam. They alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, and other ministers were involved in the scandal. The leaders submitted a report to the Governor containing evidence related to their alleged looting. On Tuesday, K.T. Rama Rao and Harish Rao, along with MLAs and MLCs, met the Governor at Lok Bhavan.
During the meeting, KTR demanded that the government immediately release a white paper on the tenders related to Singareni. He alleged that corruption had taken place, especially in the solar power tenders. KTR stated that there were attempts to take over Singareni and that his party has evidence to support these claims.
He also criticized the government for not responding when asked how many companies actually participated in the tenders after the site visit rule was introduced. Despite exposing the alleged scams with proof, there has been no response from the ruling party, he said. KTR added that they have sought an inquiry by the CBI or a sitting judge and warned that if justice is not delivered, they will mobilize the workers.
