Cyclone Murasu Threatens Andhra Coast, Danger Signals Issued at Several Ports

Several ports along the Andhra Pradesh coast have issued danger signals as Cyclone Murasu approaches the state. A No. 10 Great Danger Signal has been hoisted at Nizampatnam and Vadarevu ports. Machilipatnam Port has issued a No. 9 danger signal, while Krishnapatnam Port has hoisted a No. 8 warning signal.

A No. 3 Local Cautionary Signal is being maintained at the other ports. With rough sea conditions expected due to the cyclone, authorities have advised fishermen to stay away from the sea. Coastal residents have also been urged to remain alert and follow official safety instructions.
