BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) has strongly criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing his government of pushing the state into financial distress. Addressing a BRS Rythu Garjana meeting in Adilabad, KTR alleged that the Rythu Bandhu assistance had stopped while the Congress leadership continued to receive political benefits. He also targeted the BJP and Congress, calling them partners in corruption and alleging that both parties were working together despite projecting themselves as political rivals in Telangana.
KTR questioned the BJP’s contribution to the state, referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promise of depositing ₹15 lakh in every poor person’s account. He alleged that Adilabad’s Cement Corporation of India (CCI) factory was being sold as scrap and claimed that the Centre had failed to provide Telangana with major national projects, medical colleges and national-level educational institutions. He also criticised the government over alleged difficulties in procuring urea and accused the family of local MLA Payal Shankar of exploiting the proposed industrial corridor. These were political allegations made by KTR at the public meeting.
