Raghav Chadha Breaks Silence on NEET Leak

Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha explained his silence on the NEET paper leak controversy during a debate on the Public Examinations (Amendment) Bill, 2026. He said that while serving in the Opposition, his primary responsibility was to question the government and highlight public issues. However, after moving to the treasury benches, his focus shifted toward developing and implementing institutional solutions.

Chadha said he did not want to make statements merely for media attention or headline value. Instead, he preferred to speak only after a concrete and practical solution to the paper leak issue was ready to be presented before Parliament. He emphasized the need for long-term reforms to strengthen the credibility and transparency of the public examination system.
