Phone Tapping Case: SIT Issues Notice to Harish Rao, Tight Security at Telangana Bhavan

Following the issuance of SIT notices to former minister Harish Rao in the phone tapping case, police have deployed heavy security at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. With a large turnout of BRS workers and Harish Rao’s supporters expected, authorities remain on high alert. In this backdrop, a crucial meeting of senior BRS leaders is scheduled at Telangana Bhavan under the leadership of KTR and Harish Rao. The meeting is likely to deliberate on the party’s future course of action. BRS has alleged that despite the Supreme Court granting a clean chit, the Revanth Reddy government is deliberately targeting Harish Rao. Party leadership has called MLAs, MLCs, MPs, former public representatives, district presidents, and state executive members to attend the meeting.

Meanwhile, party sources confirmed that Harish Rao will proceed from Telangana Bhavan to appear before the SIT today at 11 am. In support of him, a large number of party workers and supporters have begun gathering at Telangana Bhavan. Earlier in the day, Harish Rao held discussions with his legal team at his residence regarding the points to be raised during the SIT inquiry in connection with the phone tapping case. KTR also visited his residence and participated in the discussions.
